Finding the Right Chord, is the new feature length movie by Keyone Productions. The idea for the film arose in January 2007 when content for Youthcomm TV was being requested. Since then the script has been written, the cast and crew gathered, funding recieved and the film has started production as of July 2007. The film centres around a musician, Ben Thorpe, who's attempting to make it big in the music industry by recording songs and playing gigs in his home town. Ben's parent's died when he was at a young age so he has had to deal with the giref of their departure, as well as heartache problems with a close friend. The script has been written by the Keyone Productions partners, Chris Leydon & Nick Cooper, and the film has recieved financial backing by youth funding organisation FLOSS. The film is also backed by Worcestershire County Council, South Worcestershire Millenium Volunteers and Youthcomm TV, who are kindly providing the filming equipment. The project is primarily an oppourtunity for young people to learn the ins and outs of the film industry in a professional production, whilst enabling them to forge friendships and gain skills for use in later life.
